MEL/MRL Reunion (Added6/16/09)

Hello Everyone,

I've received several inquiries about when the next MEL/MRL reunion is going to take place. I'm glad to hear that some are making room on their calendar so they can attend. So, this is an early notice. The reunion will take place on Thursday, September 17th from 5pm to 9pm at the Knickerbocker Club in Lowell. I've already reserved the hall so please mark it in your calendar.

I'll be sending a few notices out as the time nears.

Until then have a great summer and be healthy so we can see you in September.

Safeguard Missile Defense System Reunion ( Added 6/6/09)

Bell Labs was the prime contractor for the Safeguard Missile Defense

System that was deployed during the cold war in ND. GE build the PAR

radar and Raytheon built the MSR radar.

A reunion of people who contributed to the project is being put together

for next year. It will be in ND.

There is a great web site (http://www.srmsc.org/) that talks about the project and the reunion.
